I reside in Laramie, Wyoming with my wife Megan and our Brittany, Waverly. Waverly has been my introduction to dog sports and showing, and we have been having a great time! Though I did not originally intend to show, Waverly comes from a long line of show and sport dogs, and we are hooked! We are currently working on her AKC championship in addition to training for disc, obedience and rally, and hunting and hunt tests.
Alongside the Cheyenne Kennel Club, I am also a member of the American Brittany Club and our local affiliate club, the Skyline Brittany Club, as well as Frontier NAVHDA, our local chapter of the North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association. Waverly passed her NAVHDA Natural Ability test in 2022, and we plan to pursue her Junior Hunter and Senior Hunter titles in AKC tests in the coming years. I have fallen in love with the Brittany breed and hope to continue the American Brittany Club's long-lived goal "To promote cooperation and friendship among the breeders and owners of Brittanys and to encourage higher standards in breeding, training and showing of Brittanys in the field and in the show ring; to discourage the breed from becoming split into groups of 'field dogs' and 'show dogs' and to strive to keep it forever a 'dual dog.'"
When we are not in the show ring or training, you can find us exploring Wyoming, hiking, camping, kicksledding, skijoring, and hunting as often as we can!
