About Me

I moved to Cheyenne in 2004 from Conroe, Texas. I am married and have a teenage daughter. Growing up we had a Maltese and  mixed breeds. I got my first dog when I was 13 and she was a black lab mix. I had her for almost 15 years before she passed due to old age. Through my husband, I met Bonnie Spiece (our president) and we became friends back in 2008. I was introduced to her Cane Corsos. I fell in love with her puppies and began attending dog shows with her. I started by just helping ring side and then out of necessity would begin taking dogs into the ring. When I lost my black lab mix in 2011, I was heartbroken and asked Bonnie if I could borrow one of her dogs so I would not go home to an empty house. Bonnie let me take my girl Pinkerton home and a month later after decking her out with all new pink gear, I told Bonnie I wanted her permanently. I continued to help Bonnie show and with Pinkerton I competed in Rally and started doing Therapy Dog. In 2016, Mantis was born and to my husband's surprise we ended up with a third Corso. With Mantis, I began showing him myself and finished him. I enjoy doing Barn Hunt, Obedience, Farm Dog, Therapy Dog and many other activities with my dogs.
